The AUTO mode may be used all year around as the system automatically controls constant temperature, air flow distribution and fan speed.

To turn off the heater and air conditioner, turn the fan speed control dial to the OFF position.

Cooling and dehumidified heating:

1. Turn the air flow control dial and fan speed control dial to the AUTO position.

2. If the A/C indicator light does not illuminate, push the A/C button. (The A/C indicator light will illuminate.) 3. Turn the temperature control dial to set the desired temperature.

4. Press the outside air circulation recirculation  button once to change/air recirculation operation of the air conditioner in the button once to change operation of the air conditioner in the following order.

Heating (A/C off):

1. Turn the air flow control dial and fan speed control dial to the AUTO position.

2. If the A/C indicator light illuminates, push the A/C button. (The A/C indicator light will turn off.) 3. Turn the temperature control dial to set the desired temperature.

4. Press the outside air circulation recirculation button once to change/air recirculation operation of the air conditioner in thebutton once to change operation of the air conditioner in the following order.

When automatic control mode is set, the air recirculation indicator and outside air circulation indicator will turn off.

- Do not set the temperature lower than the outside air temperature. Doing so may cause the temperature to not be controlled properly.

- If the windows fog up, use dehumidified heating instead of the A/C off heating.

Dehumidified defrosting/defogging:

1. Turn the fan speed control dial to the desired position.

2. Turn the air flow control dial to the position. position.

3. Turn the temperature control dial to set the desired temperature.

- To remove frost from the outside surface of the windshield quickly, set the temperature control dial and fan speed control dial to their maximum position.

- After the windshield is cleared, turn the air flow control dial to the AUTO position to set to the automatic mode.

- When the position is or selected, the air conditioner will automatically position is selected, the air conditioner will automatically turn on when the outside air temperature is above 238F (−58C) to defog the windshield.
